Lisa Johnson is a certified human resources professional holding a PHR, Professional of Human Resources issued by HRCI, and a SHRM-CP, SHRM-Certified Professional issued by Society of Human Resource Management.
Lisa has over 18 years of Human Resources experience gained from working at three large, prominent Tulsa-based companies including WorldCom (now Verizon), CommunityCare of Oklahoma, and Tulsa World/BH Media. Lisa has also worked as a Recruiter and Consultant for various recruiting firms in Tulsa.
As a certified HR professional, Lisa is required to maintain her certifications through continuing education credits. Through consistent continued education, Lisa demonstrates her expertise is relevant, competent, and credible.
Lisa’s expertise includes leadership coaching, career coaching, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, policy and procedure development and implementation, training, compliance, and compensation analysis.

Lisa’s Philanthropic Passions
Overcoming Job Transition (OJTTulsa), Involved since 2011: OJTTulsa is a group that encourages, equips, and energizes job seekers in transition in the Tulsa area. When Lisa began volunteering with this group, she delivered presentations to groups of 30 – 60 job seekers covering various topics including resumes, interview tips, networking, LinkedIn, professionalism, and perception. In December 2014, she began serving as a Volunteer Leader to facilitate weekly meetings and lead the volunteer efforts.
Tulsa Area United Way, 2014 – 2015, 2009 – 2010: Lisa volunteered as the Employee Campaign Coordinator for Tulsa World and CommunityCare of Oklahoma. She created and organized employee events in effort to raise funds for Tulsa Area United Way. She also coordinated and presented information at employee meetings to educate and inform the employees how their volunteer dollars help Tulsa Area United Way and the agencies associated with TAUW.
Tulsa Technology Center, Involved since 2012: Lisa has served as a Speaker to students covering various topics including resumes, interview tips, LinkedIn, professionalism, branding and marketing, social media clean up, and perception.
Goodwill TulsaWORKS, 2012: Lisa conducted mock interviews for students graduating from the TulsaWORKS program.
Tulsa Area Human Resources Association, 2011 and 2012: As the Website Chair, Lisa maintained the TAHRA website by providing updated information including upcoming monthly meetings, training programs, and special events.
Dress for Success, 2011: Lisa delivered presentations regarding job seeking tips to groups of women in job transition.
CommunityCare Employee Volunteer Program, 2010: As the Program Chair, Lisa organized employee volunteer efforts with Tulsa-based non-profits.
JDRF, 2009: Lisa chaired the CommunityCare employee efforts for JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes.
