The key to motivating employees is to understand what motivates each individual employee.
Most often, if employees feel valued, they are more likely to be motivated. Additionally, if employees feel valued, they are less likely to leave.
Employees also need to understand their manager’s expectations of them. Clear expectations will allow an employee and the manager to gauge the employee’s level of success.
